Master's Thesis Proposal Application

Please submit one copy of the application form.

Additionally, email one PDF file of the proposal to im@cyut.edu.tw. The file name should be formatted using your student ID, for example: 9014601_proposal.pdf.

Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the scheduled review date. You are also required to obtain the consent of your advisor and consult the list of review committee members.

Before submitting your application, please confirm the review date and time with each committee member.

Prepare the documents listed below and submit them to the department office for processing.

During the Review Day for the Master's Thesis Proposal

Master's Thesis Proposal Review Opinion Form (to be prepared according to the number of review committee members)

One copy of the Master's Thesis Proposal Review Form.

The "Thesis Proposal Review Opinion Form" should be submitted in one copy to both the advisor and each review committee member.

The "Thesis Proposal Review Form" should be submitted to the advisor.

After the oral and written reviews are completed, please submit all forms to the department office.

One electronic copy of the initial draft of the Master's thesis should be sent to im@cyut.edu.tw, with the filename named after your student ID, for example: 9014601_thesis.pdf.

Please deliver or send the draft of your thesis to the Oral Examination committee members two weeks before the oral exam.

For external committee members, please collect the fees from the department office one day before the oral examination.

For the Chinese version of the “Verification Letter from the Oral Examination Committee,” please type the names and titles of the committee members directly in the left column. The right column is for committee member signatures; please remove the "<Signature>" notation. If there are more than three committee members, please add additional lines as needed. Additionally, please remove the "<Signature>" notation for the advisor and department chair.

For the English version, please arrange the list of committee members in the following order:
(1). Chair of Committee first
(2). Higher rank first (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor)
(3). If ranks are the same, external committee members first
(4) Sorted by last name

Thesis Revision Completed

Have your advisor sign the Thesis Completion Notification Form and submit it to the department office upon leaving the university.
